Do I need a referral?
Yes. You can arrange a face to face or telehealth appointment with your GP to get a referral. Your GP can send this to us directly, or you can email this to us at info@drsheppard.com.au before your appointment.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Referral letter from your GP or specialist
If Applicable:
Medicare card, DVA card, Pension Card
Private Health insurance information
Ultrasound, blood test, cervical screening test results

How do I get to the practice?
We are easily accessible via public transport with Bondi Junction train station and bus terminal less than 10 mins walk away
If you are driving, there is limited metered parking on the street. Parking is available under the building in the Hollywood Avenue Car Park, entry via 18 Waverley Street, or in Westfield Bondi Junction.

What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your appointment, we require at least two working days notice so that your appointment time can be offered to another patient. This can be done either by calling 9388 0055 or by emailing info@drsheppard.com.au.
Fees apply for cancellations within 2 business days:
Late cancellation - 50% consultation fee
Missed appointment - 100% consultation fee

Can I bring a support person?
Absolutely. Please keep in mind that consultations will often involve personal questions, so please ensure that you feel comfortable with any personal questions being asked in front of this person.

Can I book for pregnancy care?
Madeleine provides antenatal care in the public hospital, but not privately at present. She does however care for women who are planning a pregnancy or experiencing complications in early pregnancy.
